Description JOB SUMMARY: Practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the College of Dietitians of British Columbia (CDBC) as well as within a client and family centred care model and the vision and values of the organization. Works within a self-directed work team and provides nutrition care services to clients of the Diabetes Centre (DC). Utilizes advanced clinical techniques in the area of diabetes management and nutritional/diabetes counselling to individuals and client groups. Acts as a clinical resource for dietitians and other health care providers in the hospital and other facilities/agencies. Provides information to internal/external sources on nutritional management/practice via consultations, in-services and presentations. Develops nutritional related guidelines, and as a member of an interdisciplinary team, modifies/establishes procedures/standards for the DC.
