Job Description Summary In this role, the Lead Advanced Manufacturing and Repair Technology (AMRT) Machining and Tooling Engineer will develop, industrialize, and globalize machining and tooling processes and technologies for the gas turbine repair services network and new make supply chain. This person will coordinate with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to drive conventional and non-conventional machining processes that will enable contractual services productivity and fulfillment, transactional services growth, and new unit growth for a variety of industrial gas turbine components. Job Description: Roles and Responsibilities: Develop new machining processes and technologies that will be utilized at sites around the globe. Design & fabricate a variety of fixtures and tooling in collaboration with internal & external sources while aligning with operational budgets. Utilize lean-manufacturing values and participate in action workouts to improve process capability, reduce overall costs, and increase capacity for both traditional and transactional lean lines.
