Department: 36281 Carolinas Medical Center - Nuclear Medicine: MMP1 Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Monday - Friday 7a-3:30p No call, no holiday rotations: Pay Range: $41.10 - $61.65 Major Responsibilities: - Administers diagnostic and therapeutic doses under the supervision of an Authorized User. - Examines requests and verifies orders on each assigned patient. Refers and questions orders to the Radiologist before performing exam. Contacts ordering physician when there are discrepancies. Correlates other test results and laboratory data with exam being performed. - Obtains medications, radiopharmaceuticals, or contrast materials as directed for administration by a licensed practitioner, authorized/certified technologist, or registered nurse. - Operates dose calibrators, computers, lab equipment and survey meters. - Verifies the correct patient by using appropriate patient identifiers and validates proof of identity.
