SUMMARY: Sort laundry and fold terry/linens. Provide service to guests and other departments. Maintain the cleanliness and order of the laundry facility. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Maintain a high level of workplace safety - Operate the laundry equipment safely as trained - Adhere to personal appearance standards and present a professional image - Monitor the quality of laundered linen/terry. Notify your Laundry Manager/Supervisor of any deviations or unacceptable linen/terry - Maintain a continual flow of linen/terry as directed - Maintain a pleasant and tactful personality - Possess excellent organization and communication skills - Maintain high staff morale and project a positive attitude - Work effectively with others - Detail and quality oriented - Ability to multi-task - Possess excellent time management skills and be comfortable with meeting firm deadlines - Responsible for any projects assigned to you - Assist in any area of laundry that you are needed - Report any misuse of linen/terry to your Laundry Manager/Supervisor - Ensure that all laundry employees are meeting Grand Traverse Resort and Spa standards - Responsible for any and all other reasonable reques...
