Position Summary: The Day Camp Craft Lead is responsible for planning and execution of crafts, Bible study, music and other activities for youth ages 5–11 during Summer Day Camp. This position also supports camper supervision, promotes participation and positive behavior, maintains supplies and program areas, and ensures compliance with safety, Safe From Harm, and state childcare licensing guidelines. Assists with documentation, staff collaboration, and transportation coordination as needed. Essential Responsibilities: - Plan and implement all elective activities such as recreation, Bible study, swimming, group games, crafts, music and more for groups of youth ages 5-11, both on-site and while on field trips. - Encourage participation in all aspects of the Summer Day Camp. - Gather needed supplies, requesting purchases as needed. - Inventory and maintain all resources used and assigned. - Assist counselors in supervising an assigned group of youth ages 5-11 participating in the activities. - Assist with mediating any behavior problems between campers that may arise. - Assist with the care and well-being of program participants and be aware of and follow all safety precautions and p...
