The Division of Pathology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC) is recruiting a full-time faculty member to serve as an Assistant Director of the Molecular and Genomic Pathology Services (MGPS) Laboratory. The MGPS laboratory provides clinical molecular pathology services to the patients at CCHMC and functions as a reference laboratory for other regional and national pediatric hospitals. U.S. News & World Report recently ranked Cincinnati Children’s Hospital among the top pediatric hospitals in the nation. The Department of Pathology is seeking an outstanding molecular pathologist with a broad range of experience in molecular diagnostics, including high throughput technologies, such as Next Generation Sequencing (NGS). The MGPS laboratory performs molecular diagnostic testing for oncology and infectious diseases specimens using NGS and conventional testing modalities, such as realtime PCR, droplet digital PCR, and fragment analysis. The MGPS laboratory offers comprehensive pediatric cancer NGS panel for solid tumors and hematopoietic neoplasms and minimal residual disease monitoring for Histiocytosis.
