Description JOB SUMMARY: Within the context of a client centred model of care, the Chargehand provides supervision to designated staff and performs related administrative duties a majority of the time. Facilitates the resolution of work problems by using recognized methodologies and liaising with clients. Participates in the development and monitoring of preventative maintenance programs, including the use of a computerized maintenance management system. Performs skilled steamfitter, refrigeration mechanic or industrial instrumentation work at the journeyman level on heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC) equipment or skilled repair, maintenance and programming duties on related electronic equipment, including the use of the building automation system. QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Grade 12, plus five (5) years' recent, related experience including two (2) years in a supervisory capacity or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
