Job DetailsJob Location: Jonesboro - GA - Jonesboro, GA 30236Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: MorningA Behavioral Specialist in a crisis home provides immediate stabilization and therapeutic support to individuals experiencing acute psychiatric or emotional crises. In this role, you will implement individualized behavior intervention plans and utilize evidence-based de-escalation techniques to ensure the safety of both residents and staff. The specialist also monitors behavioral data and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and nurses to guide individuals toward a successful transition to residential care. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Crisis Intervention and De-escalation Provide prompt response to behavioral emergencies using evidence-based techniques to ensure the safety of residents and staff. On call for crisis intervention as the need arises Implements interventions to individuals in crisis. Behavioral Assessment: Conduct thorough intake evaluations and functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the root causes of challenging behaviors and triggers.
