Job description

We’re looking for a Steward part-time or casual who takes pride in their work. Our stewards play a vital role in supporting our chefs by maintaining clean, organised kitchens and upholding exceptional standards. If you’re reliable, energetic, and want to be part of a fast‑paced team, this could be the perfect opportunity to start your journey with InterContinental. Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be: ● Cleaning and sterilising countertops, walls, stoves, ovens, grills, sinks and cooking equipment ● Maintaining food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators ● Receiving and organising deliveries to the kitchen ● Supporting the chefs and other kitchen staff in basic food preparation, cutting, peeling, and washing ● Removing kitchen waste and washing dirty dishes ● Role available as Part time or Casual dependant on availability and candidate What We need from you: ● Availability to work across different days and times: Morning shifts as early as 6:00am and or late shifts finishing at 1:00am ● Passion for delivering great service ● Previous experience as a Steward, Kitchen Attendant or Prep Chef is helpful but not necessary ● Experience working in a busy kitchen environmen...
