We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Monmouthshire to assist with the appointment of a Grounds Operative, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay : £13.26 - £17.15 per hour Summary: The Ground Maintenance Operative will support the delivery of grounds maintenance and environmental services across Monmouthshire, ensuring public open spaces, verges, schools, landscaped areas, and contracted sites are maintained to a high standard. The role involves operating grounds maintenance equipment, maintaining local environmental quality, and contributing to the Council's vision of providing a safe, clean, and sustainable environment. Responsibilities: Essentials : - Carry out grass cutting activities using both handheld and ride-on equipment across parks, open spaces, schools, and public areas. - Undertake grounds maintenance duties including landscaping, horticultural maintenance, shrub bed upkeep, and annual bedding maintenance. - Assist with sports pitch marking and maintenance of sports facilities. - Carry out arboriculture and environmental maintenance works as required....
