Sterilization Technician

Job description

The Sterilization Technician is a key part of the ultimate patient experience. The Sterilization Technician is responsible for sterilizing all clinical equipment throughout the workday and maintaining a clean and orderly workflow. Responsibilities: · Properly sterilize all dental instruments and equipment in accordance with departmental standards · Perform all opening of the front, closing, and maintenance procedures as well as other duties as delegated by the Clinical Coordinator · Restock and maintain an inventory of dental supplies and instruments to assure a constant level is always available · Communicate to the Clinical Coordinator, any supplies that need replenishing or replacement · Maintain order and cleanliness in the dental lab and in the sterilization area · Maintain proper pre-set trays and ensure they are ready for anticipated procedures and ready all necessary materials and instruments needed for treatment · Assist clinical staff in optimizing patient flow.
