About the Project: The Tram to Springvale Alliance (TSA), made up of BMD Constructions, CPB Contractors and Arup, is delivering the Eastern Freeway Upgrades between Tram and Springvale roads. The works include new express lanes, upgraded noise walls, and revitalised areas of the Koonung Creek Linear Park. The project is being delivered under an Alliance Contract with Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA), forming a single, collaborative team. As part of the North East Link Program (NELP), the upgrade will improve safety and efficiency for over 135,000 daily vehicles, remove 15,000 trucks from local roads, and reduce traffic across the Yarra River by 50,000 vehicles per day.
