Senior Engineer in Land Development

Lumos & Associates, a leader in civil engineering throughout Northern California, Nevada, and Idaho, is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer in Land Development to join our growing Reno team. This is a high-impact, hands-on technical leadership role for an engineer with extensive experience delivering land development projects from initial due diligence and entitlements through final design and construction support. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in local design, zoning codes, municipal ordinances, and jurisdictional approval processes, and is comfortable guiding projects through the full entitlement and permitting lifecycle. This position calls for a highly skilled engineer who enjoys actively participating in design, redlining plans, and mentoring staff, while being in responsible charge. The role also involves direct client engagement, leading project meetings, and collaborating with planning staff and regulatory agencies.
