Description: This position designs and implements data analysis pipelines for data science and machine learning / artificial intelligence (AI) to meet specifications of faculty or senior staff either independently or in collaboration with research staff, trainees, and fellows. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Uses modern programming languages running on UN*X (Unix-like) operating systems with best practices such as version control, unit tests, and comments. - Works with sensitive data in secure environments and adheres to legal frameworks that govern the data (e.g., HIPAA-compliance). - Designs and maintains study databases (including relational databases and data lakes) to satisfy research project needs. - Creates and maintains documentation of new and existing analysis pipelines to facilitate knowledge transfer. - Contributes to research dissemination materials such as manuscripts and presentations and to r...
