Valiant is looking for an InfoSec Analyst to join our team! This is a temporary position. The length of the assignment has not been determined. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Serve as the Senior Information Security/Lead. Responsible for providing support to the implementation and oversight of INFOSEC regulations, including those covering Original Classification Authority (OCA), in accordance with Executive Order (E.O.) 13526, “Classified National Security Information, and DoD 5230.30-M, “DoD mandatory Declassification Review Program.” - Conduct background research and gap analysis on Government best practices involving theprocedures required for the development of operational functions regarding INFOSEC. - Provide various drafts (emails, memorandums, articles, etc.) of routine revisions of NGB INFOSEC, classification, and declassification procedures for Government review. - Conduct research on Government best practices involving the procedures required for the development and maintenance of standard text and protocols for Government Security Classification Guides (SCGs). - Provide verbal and written guidance and referential information related to SCGs for inquires by the...
