Lead Bike Technician Department: Mountain Outfitters: Reports To: Mountain Outfitters Manager: Rate of Pay: $18–$20 per hour DOE Shifts: 4 days a week: 9am – 6pm Summary: We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Bike Technician to join our resort shop team. This role is responsible for performing high-quality repairs, maintaining a large rental fleet, and supporting daily rental operations. The ideal candidate is mechanically skilled, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, guest-focused resort environment. This position also includes cross-training in retail sales and guest service to ensure seamless support across all shop operations. Key Responsibilities: Bike Repair & Service - Diagnose and repair a wide range of bicycle issues (mountain, road, e-bike preferred) - Perform tune-ups, brake and drivetrain adjustments, wheel truing, suspension setup, and component installs - Maintain high standards of safety and workmanship - Communicate repair timelines and recommendations clearly with guests Rental Fleet Maintenance: - Perform daily safety checks and preventative maintenance on rental fleet - Complete routine inspections and document service logs - Ident...
