M365 Platform Engineer

Job description

Position Summary Vista Equity Partners is seeking an M365 Platform Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our Microsoft 365 platform using modern infrastructure-as-code and automation practices. Exchange Online sits at the core of this role, with broad responsibility across the wider M365 platform spanning SharePoint architecture and modernization, Microsoft Purview, and Power Platform enablement. The engineer partners closely with InfoSec, the SharePoint Lead, and the service desk team to deliver a secure, well-governed environment. This role will be based in our Austin or New York office in a hybrid capacity. Responsibilities: - Design and implement automation solutions for M365 platform management using PowerShell, Bash, and Terraform. - Configure, secure, and monitor M365 services using infrastructure-as-code practices. - Develop and maintain platform-level automation using Azure Automation, Logic Apps, and Power Automate for automated response to platform events. - Manage and secure Exchange Online, including mail flow rules, anti-phishing policies, transport configurations, and mailbox provisioning. - Lead and support Exchange migrations (on-premises to Exchange Online a...
