Stave Preparation Department Lead

Job Description/Responsibilities The stave prep line lead position will lead a group of team members in the prepping of staves for stave jointers. Must have a strong knowledge of wood defects / sap, and the ability to spot defects. Will ensure the staves meet the standards the jointers require to joint staves. They must ensure that production goals are met. Must be able to keep track of production totals and report them. Must be a good communicator with their team and with other line leads. PRIORITIES: - Exceeding expectations across all customer segments, including external and internal customers. Needs in all areas are anticipated and requests and complaints are addressed as much as possible to the satisfaction of all customers.
