Description The University of Chicago's Department of Pediatrics, Section of Emergency Medicine, in the Biological Sciences Division is searching for full-time faculty members at any rank. Appointees will serve as Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physicians in our Pediatric Level I Trauma-accredited emergency room at The University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital. In addition, they will develop an academic niche that builds on our faculty expertise in medical education, simulation, quality improvement, health equity and bioethics research, health outcomes, disaster preparedness, child abuse, trauma, or other areas that relate to the mission of the Department of Pediatrics and Comer Children's Hospital. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications.
