Job description

The Fair Banking Oversight & Senior Risk Advisor is responsible for serving as a Second Line of Defense (2LOD) Fair and Responsible Banking oversight framework across Atlantic Union Bank. This role focuses on maturing, maintaining, and operationalizing the Fair Banking framework encompassing Fair Lending, Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), and UDAAP‑related risks. The Senior Advisor provides independent oversight, governance leadership, credible, and effective challenge to the First Line of Defense (1LOD). In addition to governance and framework ownership, this role provides horizontal integration across Fair Banking disciplines and supports peer roles during periods of increased demand, including regulatory exams, remediation efforts, and peak monitoring or testing cycles. This role will partner closely with the Director - Fair & Responsible Banking, the Fair Banking CRA Program Administrator, and the Fair Banking CRA Advisor to ensure clear role delineation and strong program execution.
