Job description

The Facility Security Officer (FSO) is responsible for implementing, administering, and maintaining the company’s industrial security program, with a primary focus on personnel security clearances (PCLs). This role acts as the primary liaison with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) and ensures that all cleared staff maintain eligibility in compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), SEAD 3, and related federal regulations. The FSO manages the full lifecycle of clearances—from initiation through termination—within DISS/NBIS. Responsibilities and Duties: - Manage the full lifecycle of personnel security clearances (PCLs), including initiation, submission, tracking, adjudication, and reinvestigations. - Maintain accurate clearance records in DISS/NBIS. - Submit and track incident reports, status changes, and periodic reinvestigations. - Ensure timely onboarding and offboarding of cleared personnel, including debriefings and clearance terminations. - Provide guidance to employees on clearance obligations and reporting requirements. - Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s industrial security program in accordance w...
