Job description
The Shift Lead communicates effectively with the production floor/quality personnel to ensure smooth transition of finished goods from the production floor to the warehouse/loading dock, maintaining safe working practices, GMP, Hygiene standards providing motivation and effective leadership to the warehouse staff. Night shift: Mon- Fri 11pm-7am, 3rd shift starts on Monday nights Training: Training would be on 1st shift for about 4 weeks before moving to 3rd. Pay rate: Pay rate based on experience but $26-30/hr. Plus $2/hr. shift differential on top of it. Position type: Direct Hire: Job location: Mt Pleasant, WI: Specific Duties: - Dispatch loads. - Pick and stage various loads in shipping area. - Store finished products and cartons in the warehouse, recording in BPCS/SAP. - Keep dispatch and warehouse area clean and tidy with a focus on 5S and sanitation. - Analyze logistical problems and produce new solutions. - Manage RF gun fleet (handoffs at shift changes, proper battery maintenance etc.). - May need to fill in for shipping administrator, set up rush shipments, oversee loading of late day pick-ups. - Motivate and effectively lead Team members. - Allocate and manage staff resou...
