Position Summary: Florida Atlantic University is seeking several Lifeguards. - Jupiter, FL. The Aquatic center lifeguards are primarily responsible for guest safety. This includes maintaining equipment, enforcing guidelines, member service and keeping areas clean and well organized. Summary of responsibilities: Reports to the Assistant Director of Facility Operations Open and close pool, depending on schedule and hours Responsible to act as first responder in the event of an emergency Monitor activities in the pool or on the pool deck closely and identify any safety issues Observe weather to ensure guest safety Maintain a clean environment in and around the pool Provide assistance to patrons when appropriate Other duties as assigned: Explore Living in Palm Beach County The goal is to provide local employers and new employees in the area a comprehensive guide with places to live.
