Job DetailsJob Location: Medina Regional Hospital 3100 Ave E - Hondo, TX 78861Position Type: PRNTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: VaryingPOSITION PURPOSE: Interviews incoming patient or representative and enters information required for admission by performing the following duties. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Interviews patient or representative to obtain accurate demographics. Explains hospital regulations such as visiting hours, payment of accounts, and schedule of charges. Verification and eligibility of insurance benefits Enters patient information and routes completed paperwork to appropriate departments. Obtains signed statement from patient to protect hospital's interests. Accepts and stores patient valuables when necessary. Receives payments on account. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; six to twelve months related experience and/or training preferred.
