Now Hiring: Key Whitman Eye Center - N Arlington JOB TITLE: Diagnostic Technician: POSITION SUMMARY: The role of the Diagnostic Technician is to work relatively close with the clinic physicians to perform basic, advanced, and complex testing ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: - Perform the necessary diagnostic testing of the eye while having a basic understanding and knowledge of these tests such as - OCT macula, OCT optic nerves, Lenstar, ORB scan, Optos Fundus photos, EPIC (OPD and glare), IMMERSION and HVF, any other related tests as needed - Assist with answering calls and emails: Triage, RX Refills, questions regarding patient chart/plan, etc.) - Become familiar with basic conditions and diseases of the eye - Maintains and sterilizes room and equipment, properly turning on and off all equipment - Assists Technicians and Scribes as needed - Administers topical ophthalmic medication and understanding basic ocular pharmacology; names of meds and their uses Benefits: Equal Employment Opportunity & Work Force Diversity Our organization is an equal opportunity employer and will not discriminate against any em...
