Your Specific Responsibilities: This position is responsible for the rabies program within the Environmental Health Program and assists with sanitary nuisance investigations and management of the swimming program. The rabies program consists of receiving/sending emails regarding animal bites and exposures (bats), maintaining records, contacting victims, and preparing specimen (heads) for testing. Sanitary Nuisance investigation consists of responding to citizen complaints on environmental issues affecting community health and safety. Swimming pools inspections. Other duties as required. Qualifications: Minimum – - Willing to work before, during, and/or beyond normal work hours or days in the event of an emergency.
