Job Title: Desk Developer - European Gas & Power Trading Desk Contract Type: Time Type: Full time Job Description: The Desk Developer - European Gas & Power Trading Desk will support the traders and analysts in the London office by providing expert-level data manipulation, Python code reviews and deployment, and front-end visualisation. Key Responsibilities: Support the European Gas & Power trading desk, providing high-quality solutions for day-to-day requirements, as well as guiding longer-term platform development. Work closely with analysts to improve existing and new modelling, aiming for an efficient and scalable codebase. Work closely with analysts and traders alike to develop data visualisation and manipulation tools. Act as a liaison between the trading desks and centralised IT functions to identify key projects and infrastructure. Represent and push forward the data and infrastructure requirements of the desks. Drive technology deployment on the desk – pushing the team to use best practices and the newest techniques.
