Description The School of Applied Sciences and Arts, with the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts, invites applications for a First-Year Composition Instructor position for the 2026-2027 academic year. The Instructor position serves the Polytechnic campus of Arizona State University. The successful candidate will teach a 5/5 course load of undergraduate courses in First-Year Composition for on-ground students in face-to-face classrooms; prepare class materials; evaluate student work; and hold office hours to assist students. The Instructor position is a full-time, benefits-eligible, non-tenure eligible position renewable on an academic year basis, contingent upon satisfactory performance, availability of resources, and the needs of the university. Candidate must reside in Arizona or be willing to relocate. The School of Applied Sciences and Arts in the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts at Arizona State University delivers applied sciences and liberal arts courses to students from all majors at the Polytechnic and Downtown Phoenix campuses.
