Job description

We are seeking applicants for a new Lending Specialist role at AgSouth. This position works in partnership with lending team to provide high-level lending support throughout the loan process, and assists the lending team with loan origination and servicing processes to create an efficient and customer friendly experience for both our borrowers and internal stakeholders. Responsibilities: Lender Support Supports lending operations by entering and verifying loan information, coordinating documentation, and assisting with portfolio servicing. Ensures all loan activities follow required policies and procedures. Data Entry: Conducts pre-screening of credit applications, uploading financial documents, and assisting with portfolio servicing tasks like renewals and modifications. It also coordinates with the lending team to gather required information for loan applications and servicing. Location/Administrative Support (Back up): Provide general administrative support for branch operations, assists with local public relations efforts, and helps maintain proper internal controls.
