PHMC serves as both a direct service provider to individuals, families, and communities across the region and an intermediary agent, managing large-scale contracts, government and philanthropic partnerships, and multidisciplinary initiatives that require operational sophistication, strategic leadership, and deep mission alignment. DEPARTMENT: Philadelphia Department of Public Health (PDPH) DIVISION: Division of HIV Health (DHH) Surveillance Unit JOB OVERVIEW: This full-time position is in the Philadelphia Department of Public Health (PDPH) Division of HIV Health (DHH) Surveillance Unit. The position will report to the MMP Project Coordinator. Duties include, but are not limited to, collecting information related to the diagnosis of opportunistic illnesses, providing preventive therapies, prescribing antiretroviral medications, reviewing laboratory results, assessing adverse medication events, and reviewing health services utilization through chart abstraction. Employees will also perform detailed case investigations on selected HIV-positive individuals through extensive phone interviews as well as home and community field visits.
