The Heater’s primary responsibilities include accurately identifying and charging slabs in the correct location, as well as heating steel slabs in accordance with established company practices and procedures. Incumbents will be expected to heat slabs to predetermined temperature parameters to ensure the final product meets Oregon Steel Mills quality standards and customer requirements. The starting wage for this role is $30.00/hour with monthly incentive bonus opportunities.
