Union Position: No Department Details: Summary: Performs diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) exams. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of procedures, MRI safety considerations and provides a quality patient care experience. Job Description: Work Shift: 7 days on, 7 days off Wednesday - Tuesday. Mon - Thurs: Noon - 10:00 pm and Fri, Sat, Sun: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm. Initiates life support measures as necessary. Interacts effectively with patients and their family members, physicians, and other health care workers. Has extensive knowledge of operation of all MRI equipment. Positions the patient and provides for comfort during the exam. Administers contrast material as required. Obtains patient history and clinical indication for MRI study.
