Description POSITION DESCRIPTION: POSITION: RN/LPN: DEPARTMENT: Primary Care: LOCATION: 1575 Blue Hill Avenue, Mattapan, MA 02126 REPORTS TO: Director of Clinical Health Services TYPE: Full -Time: Experienced: SALARY: $41 - $50 per hour Summary: Under the direction of the Clinical Nurse Supervisor, the Staff Nurse will be responsible for performing a variety of patient care services, including patient triage and treatment for patient’s comfort and wellbeing. The position requires performance of clerical duties as assigned. This position will be part of the Department of Clinical Health Services. INDMCHCSJ: RESPONSIBILITIES: 85% Direct Patient Services 10% Administrative and System Development 5% Educational/In-service - Provides direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process. - Assesses patients including vital signs, height, weight, BMI, allergies, medications and reason for visit v Performs procedures such as the administration of medications either orally or by injection and immunizations as ordered, PPDs, suture removal, wound care, dressing changes, ear irrigation, EKG’s, visual acuity screening, audiometry, O2 sats, blood glucose per Hemocue protocol, peak flow, nebulizer...
