Job Description: Job Title: Dental Assistant Reports to: Dental Practice Manager Department: Dental FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Job Grade: 5 Version Date: August 2022 General Responsibilities: The Dental Assistant is responsible for providing hands-on support to the Dentist, completing preparation work to efficiently care for patients and assist during dental procedures. Qualifications: Required Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - X-Ray Certification (or completion within 6 months of hire) - BLS Certification (or completion within 6 months of hire) - Experience using computers for a variety of tasks. - Good written and verbal communication skills. - Consistently professional appearance and attitude. - Able to provide great patient care.
