Mid-Level Process Engineer (Hybrid/Remote) Description: As a mid-level process engineer, you will support the design, analysis, and documentation of nuclear and chemical process systems, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams during project development and execution of DOE and nuclear facility projects. This role requires hands‑on experience performing and formally documenting process engineering calculations, developing process equipment specifications, and supporting design activities in highly regulated nuclear environments. Key Responsibilities: - Perform and document process engineering calculations in support of nuclear and chemical process systems - Support process design development during conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design phases Develop and review: - Engineering calculations - Process flow diagrams (PFDs) - Piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) - Process equipment specifications and data sheets - Apply applicable nuclear, chemical, and safety requirements to process designs - Interface with mechanical, electrical, I&C, safety, and operations teams to ensure integrated design solutions - Support design reviews, technical evaluations, and c...
