Description Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Oncology in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of pediatric leukemia and lymphoma. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Board-certified or board-eligible in pediatric hematology/oncology. Teaching responsibilities may include didactic and clinical instruction of medical students, residents, post-doctoral fellows, instructors, and/or clinical research assistants and educational liaison with advanced practice providers. Clinical responsibilities may include inpatient and outpatient care focused on children, adolescents, and young adults with hematologic malignancies at the Philadelphia University City Hospital and active involvement in fellowship training and mentoring. The ideal candidate will also have interests in early phase clinical trials of precision medicine therapeutics for children with relapsed/refractory or high-risk leukemias.
