Job Title: NIGHTS - Swiss Utility Relief Immediate Supervisor Production Supervisor: FLSA Status: Exempt: Summary: The Utility Relief Operator is responsible for supplying day-to-day coverage for all operations in the Swiss Cheese Department. Qualification/Requirements: - Provides vacation and daily coverage for all full time employees as scheduled by the Production Supervisor. - Monitors salt and pH concentration in the brine system. - Assure pre-draw whey is properly heated and transferred to the whey plant. - Follow company and regulatory standards for providing a quality and safe process. - Document all daily reports for work completed. - Ensure sanitation, safety, GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) and quality policies and procedures are followed. - Assist in any other areas of the manufacturing plant when necessary. - Minimum high school diploma. - Five years experience in production, sanitation, and packaging in a dairy environment. - Pasteurizer Certificate preferred, but not required. - Must be able to read, interpret and understand written and oral directions. - Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies. - Must demonstrate basic math skills to calcula...
