Title: Analyst, Asset Management Reports To: Manager, Valuations: Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Asset Management Analyst who will prepare various financial modeling and analyses in order to aid in monitoring asset performance, delivering actionable insights to aid in decision-making. The Asset Management Analyst will also support the quarterly valuation process of CAPREIT’s Canadian investment properties for financial reporting purposes. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about financial markets, real estate, and portfolio optimization. Responsibilities: - Preparing various financial models and analyses to aid in evaluating the performance of the assets for business insights and the purpose of adding value. - Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of the portfolio with a goal of identifying trends, value-add opportunities, and areas for improvement by comparing past and current asset performance. - Track and analyze the financial and operational performance of multifamily assets, including occupancy rates, rent collections, leasing velocity, and expense management. - Maintain and update property-specific information and pe...
