Job Description INSTRUCTOR: ELECTRICAL POWER TECHNOLOGY –Pratt, KS RESPONSIBILITIES : Essential Functions– - Teach Electrical Power Technology classes and labs in Pratt, KS; ensure proper safety procedures are followed - Follow the course schedule which may vary by semester. Assist in selecting textbooks, develop, plan, revise, and update curricula; implement appropriate instructional activities and supplemental resources to support student learning - Assess and evaluate student performance through ongoing grading, feedback, and formal evaluation methods; enter grades and assessment data as required. - Recruit prospective students and actively support the retention and persistence of currently enrolled students - Advise current and prospective students in appropriate curricula and career pathways in the electrical power industry - Provide adequate laboratory supervision whenever students are working; maintain lab equipment and make necessary repairs; maintain an equipment inventory; keep the shop in a clean and professional working appearance - Build and maintain relationships with local employers, utilities, and contractors to support student apprenticeships and job placement pipe...
