Description POSITION SUMMARY: The Commercial Lending Assistant will provide administrative and support assistance for multiple commercial lending officers while acting as a liaison between the clients and the Bank to ensure all commercial clients within their region are serviced professionally to meet and exceed client expectations. They serve as the loan documentation contact person and perform administrative duties. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Ensure that loan files contain accurate documents, signatures, dates and other relevant data are collected and/or recorded. - Provide administrative assistance to the Commercial / Ag bankers, including but not limited to updating and typing loan applications, assembling documentation for loans, ordering credit reports, attorney work, title searches, flood determinations, UCC searches, and appraisals. - Assist customers with questions concerning existing accounts. - Prepares loan disbursements, payments and draws on lines of credit, wire transfers and account transfers on behalf of the commercial customers. - Works effectively with a diverse group of bank personnel at several levels of the organization in the coordination of commercial application r...
