Thompson First Group is currently seeking a qualified Corrugating/Converting Machine Operator for a local client in Dover, DE. Candidates who have a high proficiency operating converting or Corrugating machinery are encouraged to apply. Qualifications: Skills: - Machine Operation: Assist in the operation of various corrugated manufacturing machinery, including die cutters, folder-gluers, flexo printing presses, and corrugators. Follow machine startup and shutdown procedures. - Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks on raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications. Use measuring tools (calipers, gauges) to verify dimensions and quality standards. - Setup and Adjustment: Help in the setup and adjustment of machinery for different product specifications, including size changes and material adjustments. Assist in troubleshooting issues related to production setups. - Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating machinery, replacing worn parts, and conducting minor repairs.
