Shift Supervisor (Nights)

Job description

Note - this position will work steady Night Shift (7PM - 7AM) on a 2-3-2 rotation. Summary: Responsible for the supervision of all shift employees and must comply with all safety, quality, production and housekeeping standards. This role directly supervises 6-8 employees, including: training, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performances, rewarding & disciplining, addressing complaints and resolving problems. Responsibility for Quality: Responsibility for Safety, Health & Environmental - Individual is expected to perform job duties in compliance with defined management system requirements. - Individual has responsibility for product quality and is authorized to stop production in order to correct quality problems. - Individual is expected to perform job duties safely and in compliance with documentation outlined in the Safety, Health & Environmental system. - Follow instructions for safe handling of materials as per product Safety Data Sheet. - Wears proper safety equipment as specified in Safety Data Sheets or work instruction. - Attend monthly safety meetings as scheduled by the Safety Department.
