Job description

Description: - Responsibilities encompass lesson planning, technique instruction, and fostering creative expression. - Tasks involve student guidance, and curriculum development. - Assists individuals to explore various art forms, including painting, sculpture, drawing, and art media. - Informs individuals about art techniques, color, form, layout and other facets of artistic creation. - Ensures that individuals receive appropriate supervision in the arts studio, including the proper storage and disposal of supplies, to maintain health and safety. - Educate, expose and allow individuals to experience various art forms outside of MTC and transportation service as it pertains to gallery and exhibit outings with art students. - Promote individuals' choices in pursuing creative talent and working on projects that are meaningful to them. - Maintain the MTC Fine Arts Gallery and ensure display is current, pieces displayed appropriately, labeled and priced. - Ensures necessary agreements with individuals are current. - Promote MTC and MTC Fine Arts at various community events and venues, including art festivals. - Coordinate Art Open House(s), and guest art speakers. - Work closely with t...
