The J.D. McCarty Center is looking for a Physical Therapist to join our team. The Physical Therapist will provide evaluations and therapy to developmentally disabled patients, birth-21, with a variety of medical conditions. These services encompass our inpatient and outpatient clients. CHECK OUT THIS VIDEO! To learn more about the center. Evaluation: Performs initial and ongoing assessments of each patient’s condition and abilities at a quality level commensurate with the employee’s professional experience. Selects evaluation tools, gathers all information necessary to properly evaluate, and interprets results in a manner appropriate to the patient’s age and abilities. Treatment planning: Establishes a plan of care which appropriately prioritizes and addresses the identified problems, which is aligned with the patient’s /family’s needs, capabilities and goals. Designs treatment programs for patients with a variety of diagnoses at a quality level commensurate with the employee’s experience, adapting treatment techniques for patients unable to respond to conventional methods.
