Electrical Tradesperson (Mobile Plant)

Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Tradesperson to join our Maintenance team at Fremantle Terminal. The Electrical Tradesperson is responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment and machinery to an engineering standard, ensuring safe and reliable operations. This role is available on a non-fixed roster to support the maintenance needs of the business and is guaranteed a minimum annual salary as set out in our Enterprise Agreement. Key accountabilities: Undertake repairs and refurbishment to required standard ensuring codes of practice are aligned Operate in compliance with safe work practices, Australian standards, Company procedures and policies Maintain a variety of equipment types including High Voltage network infrastructure, Quay Cranes, Heavy Forklifts and Reach stackers Undertake routine and regular maintenance activities Respond to urgent repairs/breakdowns: Complete job reporting in an accurate and timely manner Upgrade electrical circuitry drawings to reflect modifications/additions Undertake projects as advised and directed Experience, skills and qualifications: Successful completion of an apprenticeship in an appropriate trade qualification with a c...
