Job Title Assistant Professor of Psychology Agency: Texas A&M University - Texarkana Department: CASE - Social Sciences (Counseling, Psychology, & Sociology) Proposed Minimum Salary: Commensurate Job Location: Texarkana, Texas Job Type: Faculty Job Description: The Psychology program, which resides within the Social and Behavioral Sciences department in the College of Arts, Sciences, and Education (CASE) at Texas A&M University-Texarkana (TAMUT), is seeking an outstanding candidate at the Assistant professor rank for a tenure-track position to begin Fall 2026.Area of specialization within Psychology is open. Candidates must be able to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Statistics, Research Methods, and Experimental Psychology. Standard teaching load is three courses during each long semester. Faculty members must maintain an active research agenda in their area of specialty and serve the university in a variety of capacities The Psychology program is historically one of the most robust programs at TAMUT, with roughly 160 students enrolled.
