POSITION OVERVIEW: The Operations Accountant manages and analyzes day-to-day financial operations across manufacturing and modular build activities. The role focuses on operational accounting, inventory accuracy, WIP control, and internal controls, providing timely, accurate insights that drive operational efficiency and support management decision making. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations related to COGS, inventory, and manufacturing overhead. Prepare internal reports highlighting key operational KPIs. - Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations, ensuring balances are accurate, supported, and compliant with internal controls. - Partner with Planning and Production to resolve inventory discrepancies and improve inventory accuracy and traceability. - Monitor material movements (issues, returns, backflush transactions) to ensure accurate system reporting and alignment with production activity. - Improve scrap tracking and reporting across cutting, assembly, and production processes. - Train production supervisors on work order accuracy, alignment, and timely closure. - Maintain and strengt...
