Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Pharmacist to join our Methodist Hospital team! Position Summary: The pharmacist will ensure accurate and timely dispensing and safe and appropriate use of medications. This position will be primarily scheduled in our central pharmacy which includes inpatient (central) and IV room coverage. The role focuses on interpreting and verifying physician’s orders, completing pharmacy consults and staffing in the IV room. Work Schedule: - Rotating Day/Evening - Every 3rd weekend. - Holiday rotations. - .5 FTE Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s or PharmD degree in pharmacy - Current licensure in Minnesota. Preferred Qualifications: - Completion of a PGY-1 Hospital Pharmacy Residency preferred - Institutional experience (hospital or home care/outpatient IV) is preferred. - Pharmacist registered in Minnesota who is familiar with pharmacy regulations and standards, medication delivery systems, information systems, automation, institutional practice and third party pay programs. - This highly organized individual sh...
