General Accounting Internship Colorado Springs Utilities is seeking a student intern to work in their Financial Accounting department. During this internship, we will be providing insight to the inner workings of the general accounting team and offer a unique opportunity for college students to learn about the different facets available in the accounting profession. The learning experiences acquired while working side by side professionals offers a well-balanced introduction into our industry and to our business. A General Accounting Internship offers the following learning opportunities: *This is an on-site, non-remote/non-telecommuting position *Hourly rate is dependent on year completed of academic degree, e.g., second year complete, third year complete, etc. *Candidates MUST be enrolled in a degree seeking program (Associates/Bachelors/Masters) and be able to provide documentation if requested. Enrollment in a certification program does not qualify. In this position, the Intern will learn different suites of tools, such as our accounting software (Lawson), our work management system (Maximo) and the variety of software that comes with Microsoft.
