As part of our expansion, we are currently looking for a suitably motivated - Network Research Engineer - to join our group. The Research Network Engineer is responsible for guiding our network product portfolio by identifying key technology development directions. You will build sample networks that mimic space based network topologies, and then explore the function of various network protocols and management techniques across those topologies. You will explore the best architectures and protocol stacks for layer 2 switching protocols in environments where network nodes are non-stationary (e.g. in orbit) and where latency is higher than normal due to the great distances involved.
